Mas Gircós
Near the emblematic medieval town of Besalú we can found Mas Gircós, a splendid 17th century farmhouse with wide panoramic views, surrounded solely by nature. An ideal place for a weekend wedding where the bride and groom and guests can stay in the farmhouse and enjoy the unique spaces of the estate during the day.
The farmhouse can hold banquets for up to 250 guests and host a maximum of 174 guests at night. The establishment has several spaces suitable for the ceremony, the aperitif, the banquet and the dance. Whether indoors, outdoors or in the big top.
Mas Gircós consists of exquisite corners full of history such as a large landscaped terrace very suggestive to make appetizers or to dine under the mulberry trees, a large oak to celebrate a magical ceremony below or a green esplanade to say “yes, I do” with the mountains in the background.
The font yard
Panoramic views and you two. The front yard is the quintessential ceremony space. With your friends and family in front and the mountains of La Garrotxa behind, the ceremonies on the esplanade couldn’t be more special. We offer different types of seating for guests, from elegant tiffany chairs to straw benches that give the ceremony a rural touch. The canopy
The canopy is the ideal choice for the bridal banquet. Inside its 250 m2, you will not only enjoy the gastronomic quality of our menus, but also spectacular views during the banquet. With the tent open you will have the feeling of being outdoors but with all the comforts of an interior. In addition, it is ideal for plans B in case of rain.
The mulberries
Unique snacks under the Mas Gircós mulberry trees. Outdoor appetizers are one of the best moments of the wedding. And even more if they take place in a space as special as under the trees and with views of the mountains. Posts of what you decide, live ham cutters, cheese boards, conversations between old and new friends… Also, if you prefer, you can use the option to celebrate the wedding party.
The holm oak

The bridal suite
Warmth, comfort, views, details… As if it were a movie, after an unforgettable party the bridal suite will be waiting for you. Located on the top floor of the farmhouse, it is such a cozy rural space that even some newlyweds have wanted to celebrate the ceremony. This is his space and we want him to always remember it.
