Weddings are no longer a matter of just one day. Every day, more and more couples choose to hire a venue with accommodation facilities for their guests, so that they can enjoy the wedding they have been waiting for to the very last minute. Weddings lasting for a whole weekend can take place in places far from primary residence, such as a country house or a cottage. In the Girona region, we find two unique estates, surrounded by stunning spots, where you can celebrate a weekend wedding retreat: Mas Gircós, situated in Besalú, nestled in the heart of the Garrotxa countryside; and El Clar del Bosc, in Banyoles, in the middle of the forests of Pla de l’Estany.
Exclusive use of venues
At no extra rental cost, you will enjoy the exclusive use of the house from Friday to Sunday. The property will be entirely yours throughout the weekend of the wedding. From 5 pm Friday onwards, the house will be at your disposal in case you want to bring in things you will need for the weeding, and you will be able to have dinner or stay overnight, together with as many friends and relatives as you wish. You may also spend the day after the wedding on the venue, where you will be able to have breakfast, lunch, practice adventure activities or even use the pool in summer.
Catering
At Albacasaments we have our own in-house catering service specialized in weddings. We offer you a wide range of appetizers and different banquet menus to choose from. They are all of a high culinary quality, made with fresh regional products. Our kitchen staff will provide you with exquisite, ground breaking dishes inspired in our traditional cuisine and in the renowned “volcanic” cuisine of La Garrotxa area.
